PIT BULL™, a Sponsor of Charitable MMA Tournament Held in Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
It is a tradition for PIT BULL™ to become a sponsor of the most dynamic fighting competitions. The brand is happy to take part in charitable events held in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On October 20, Kyiv will be hosting the World Warriors Fighting Championship (WWFC) charitable tournament – the leader of Ukrainian MMA, which has already held more than 50 professional tournaments.
During WWFC 21 CHARITY, the 24 Channel Foundation, together with the WWFC League, PIT BULL™ and other sponsors and benefactors, are going to raise UAH 1 million to purchase FPV drones for the Genius Special Operations Forces Unit. Members of this Unit are engaged in the development and production of FPV drones, which they hand over to the soldiers of many brigades, Special Operations Forces and Defence Intelligence groups, and other units fighting on the front line.
Each spectator making a donation will have a chance to win unique prizes: the Ukrainian flag with the signatures of the fighters of Artan, Special Operations Unit of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, which they took along while carrying out military missions in Bakhmut and in the Crimea, a keychain made of a fragment of a X-101 missile shot down on October 10, 2022 not far from Kyiv (on the day of the first massive missile attack targeted at the Ukrainian energy infrastructure), a book by Andrii Kokotiukha autographed by the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, and other outstanding items.
The event will also host the Commemoration Meeting dedicated to Yehor Birkun, the member of the national MMA team, the fighter of the Azov Regiment, who died as a hero on March 22, 2022, defending Mariupol.
In general, there will be 12 tournaments held. Renowned professionals and prominent amateur fighters of Ukraine and Georgia will meet on the arena. So as to make the event even more exciting, PIT BULL™ Power drink will be in charge of boosting the audience’s energy.
Ukrainian fighters Kyrylo Kolomiiets and Vitalii Fihol will compete in the main battle of the evening.
Kyrylo Kolomiiets is a soldier from Kharkiv serving in KRAKEN Special Operations Unit. Kyrylo is an active combatant, so he has time to get ready for competitions during his days-off only. He is a European MMA champion, the repeat winner of Road to WWFC competitions, and the winner of WWFC Fight Night Moldova.
Vitalii Fihol is a champion of Ukraine in Wushu Sanda, champion of Ukraine in Combat Jiu-Jitsu, prize-winner of the Ukrainian Combat Sambo Championship. He won the Road to WWFC: Yuzhny Fight Cup.
Fighters will be ‘charged’ like PIT BULL™ and yearning for fighting, as they have previously met in the ring during the European MMA Championship. It was an extremely dynamic and spectacular fight. So, we expect the upcoming fight to be no less exciting.
