Baroque Magic: PRYRODNE DZHERELO™ Becomes Partner of the Symphony Music Concert at the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra

PRYRODNE DZHERELO™ crystal clean mineral water is the official partner of the symphony music concert performed by the Kyiv Baroque Consort ensemble. A concert for classical music lovers will take place on November 30 at the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra National Reserve.

Kyiv Baroque Consort is a creative project of professional musicians of Kyiv, founded in 2013 at the initiative of Italian conductor Nancy Milesis Romano. The ensemble performs mainly Italian Baroque music.

The concert programme includes musical compositions created by Italian composers: “Stabat Mater Dolorosa” by Girolamo Abos (1715–1760) and “Gloria” by Antonio Vivaldi (1678–1741).

“Stabat Mater” is a medieval sequence telling about the suffering of the Virgin during the crucifixion of Christ. This melody became the basis of many iconic works in the European music. Grieving mother is our modern-day Ukraine, since like Maria, the mother who sacrificed her own son, it sacrifices its children for the sake of the freedom of the Ukrainian people. The melodies of this composition are full of emotional upheaval and anguish, though in the final part it brings enlightenment and hope.

“Gloria” also sounds very encouraging. Antonio Vivaldi’s composition, famous for its energetic and dynamic melodies, not only praises the glory of God (which is typical of Baroque music), but also acts as a symbol of victory.
